Welcome to this blog. You are invited to respond to anything that strikes you as helpful in understanding how people in dispute, communicate. Let me start with a general question about communication: How do people learn to communicate as a participant in a dispute? Is this any different than how they communicate when they are acting civilly? What do you think?
Also, what are the most telling examples of differences between cultures in how children learn to communicate when having a dispute?
If you wish to post any meetings, training, etc. that might be of interest to other dispute resolution professionals, please do. I would like this site to serve as an information source to dispute resolution specialists in the Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas.
